The Cross & The Switchblade

by on Dec.30, 2011, under Movies, Soul Winning

Today in a Church culture that has become weak and more concerned with growing it’s corporate numbers and entertainment.  We offer this vintage movie about the early years of Pastor David Wilkerson who went into the heart of a sin sick city and reached out with the love of God.  He did not dance around the sin issue, but met these troubled kids at the heart of life’s issues.  We need this courageous faith again.  This true account of gang members in New York City will encourage your witness for Christ Jesus.  The gospel message and sin has had the same effect on people since the Church began.  This scripture comes to mind as I think about the faith of David Wilkerson. Hollywood Gnostic Agenda

by on Dec.28, 2011, under Hollywood Exposed, Occult

(30) And two blind men sitting by the road, hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!” (31) The crowd sternly told them to be quiet, but they cried out all the more, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” (32) And Jesus stopped and called them, and said, “What do you want Me to do for you?” (33) They *said to Him, “Lord, we want our eyes to be opened.” (34) Moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes; and immediately they regained their sight and followed Him. Pope’s Push For One World

by on Dec.21, 2011, under Globalism, Romanism

One of the greatest dangers to Christianity today is the deliberate suppression of biblical truth for the sake of unity. The danger intensifies as we see many highly visible and influential Christians are jumping on the Vatican’s ecumenical bandwagon. Instead of warning believers that this false unity is the emergence of the “last days” apostate church, evangelicals are embracing and applauding those who are engineering it. Instead of obeying biblical exhortations and examples to: keep the gospel pure, we are tolerating those who preach another gospel (Gal. 1:6-9) be sanctified by the truth, they are joining hands with unbelievers (John 17:17). hate everything false, they are tolerating doctrines of demons and counterfeit gospels (Psalm 119:104, 128). expose and name the agents of compromise, they are enduring them (Eph. 5:11, 2 Tim. 1-4). The following outline study presents an overview of the biblical basis of the doctrine of the Trinity. Comments on the texts have been kept to a bare minimum; the emphasis is on the many biblical texts themselves (about 700 references are listed, including references from 26 of the 27 books of the New Testament).
