WARNING: The author of this article has determined that ignoring the following information may be hazardous to your spiritual health, and that choosing to do nothing with this knowledge may grieve the Holy Spirit and cause regret; but taking action may strengthen your faith. At an emergent church workshop in San Diego, Tony Jones said, ”This is about our belief that theology changes. The message of the gospel changes. It’s not just the method that changes.” What? “Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints. For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.” (Jude 1:3-4) (more…)
Since everything that follows comes from Bonhoeffer’s book (except for a few words in brackets), we have not used quotation marks. The numbers refer to pages in the 1963 paperback version published by Macmillan.
Bonhoeffer dared to criticize the politicized cultural “Christianity” of Hitler’s Germany (primarily the unbiblical “religious” legalism, fomalism, and Nazi compromise). He was not, as some have said, a liberal Christian opposing genuine Christianity. Unfortunately, some English-speaking interpreters of his German letters have unjustly distorted his prison-letters and taken certain phrases — such as “religionless christianity” — out of context. To see his genuine love for the whole, unabridged Word of God, please see Life Together by Bonhoeffer (more…)
Are most Christians too lulled asleep to be aware? I think perhaps so. Pope Francis, what of him? There are overt signs Francis I was chosen by satanic forces for these times. The Illuminati are fascinated by imagery, symbolism and numbers. The number 6 is satan’s number (666), and 13 denotes rebellion and is usually linked with ‘bad luck.’
Benedict the 16th was the 6th Pope to resign his office in 600 years. Precisely 6 hours after his announcement to step down, lightning struck the Vatican. Pope Benedict had vacated the Papacy for 13 days. Pope Francis I was elected on 3/13/13 at 8:13pm Rome time. Then there is the peculiar Papal fascination with displaying the satanic Twisted Crucifix. And what’s up with that Jesuit Oath? (more…)
Monarch Programming is a method of mind control used by numerous organizations for covert purposes. It is a continuation of project MK-ULTRA, a mind-control program developed by the CIA, and tested on the military and civilians. The methods are astonishingly sadistic (its entire purpose is to traumatize the victim) and the expected results are horrifying: The creation of a mind-controlled slave who can be triggered at anytime to perform any action required by the handler. While mass media ignores this issue, over 2 million Americans have gone through the horrors of this program. This article looks at the origins of Monarch programming and some of its methods and symbolism. (more…)
Elliott Nesch from Holy Bible Prophecy has updated the excellent critique: Church of Tares chronicles the man-centered pragmatism of these evangelical Christian movements in comparison to the Bible’s instruction for building the Church of Jesus Christ. Can the Church borrow the marketing tools of the world and apply them to the Church? What is the history of the Church Growth movement and its false premises? Who is involved in the new evangelicalism and second reformation? Why are these movements embracing contemplative mysticism? How does this movement play into the New World Order? These questions and more are answered in Church of Tares: Purpose Driven, Seeker-Sensitive, Church Growth & New World Order. (more…)
The strategy employed by Islamists, particularly the Muslim Brotherhood, involves a patient, long-term effort known as “gradualism”. This is a bottom-up approach to achieving the objective of governance within a nation. In the short-term this involves converting people to the religion of Islam, destroying church support for Israel and interfaith engagement with churches and Christian organizations.
Olympic ceremonies are often among the most watched TV events on the planet. They are an exceptional chance for the host countries to showcase their greatness through a grandiose, elaborate and massive show. The 2012 London Olympics were no exception as England’s history, culture and accomplishments were thoroughly celebrated and applauded. Some moments were grand, others were funny; some were dark and even disturbing. Other moments were highly symbolic, reflecting the agenda of the occult elite. Given that London is one of the power capitals of the world, it would have been more surprising if the symbolism and philosophy of the global elite had not been infused throughout the ceremonies. Rick Warren’s Global Peace Plan vs. Scriptural Teachings on Peace, published by Southwest Radio Church. 1 hour film. The Rev. Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest and one of America’s most influential Christian leaders, has embarked on an effort to heal divisions between evangelical Christians and Muslims by partnering with Southern California mosques and proposing a set of theological principles that includes acknowledging that Christians and Muslims worship the same God. Rick Warren Christians & Muslims Together In light of the recent “3rd Intifada” declared by Muslims, calling for the total destruction of Jews and the Jewish State in order to consummate the Final Solution, declared on Facebook, which has now gone viral, it has now become even more critical to sound the alarm on His Holy Hill and flood the Internet with the truth that Islam is not a religion of Peace and their Jesus is not the Jesus of the Bible.
New Age Movement, Altered States of Consciousness & The New Age Disciples. The Christian ought to remember that Satan is able to counterfeit spiritual experiences to such a degree that an undiscerning Christian can end up practicing Christianized occultism and Christianized Eastern mysticism. The definition of counterfeit is: “made in imitation of something else with intent to deceive” This is exactly what Satan intends to do and is doing, at large, through unbiblical forms of mystical spirituality.
Altered States of Consciousness: Trances entered through hypnosis, meditation, drugs (including hallucinogenics), visualization, etc. State of being in which one allows the subconscious to take control and guide. May heighten one’s vulnerability to suggestion or susceptibility to deception. (more…)
What do the two accreditation organizations – Association of Theological Seminaries and Association for Biblical Higher Education – have in common? Both associations require schools that wish to be accredited to include Spiritual Formation within the school’s infrastructure. Just what exactly does that mean for these 350 some seminaries and Bible colleges? Well, it means that if they want to receive and maintain their accreditation, they are going to have to incorporate Spiritual Formation (i.e., contemplative spirituality) A belief system that uses ancient mystical practices to induce altered states of consciousness into the lives of their students. This movement is worth looking into what they teach. Many well intentioned Christians are being duped by this emotional driven movement. Amos37 gives Joel’s Army its highest warning . There are many new revelations and new winds of doctrine sweeping the Church today. Sensationalism seems to be the guiding light leading souls into extremes that are very far from the Truth that is laid out clearly in the Word of God. “Joel’s Army” is one term among many that are all being used to describe the same teaching. We hear much about the “New Breed,” “New Wave,” etc. All of the terms cited below represent basically the same teaching. Where does it come from? Where is it going? This booklet attempts to lay out a clear basis of understanding so that you can further your study. (more…)
This movement holds that it is always God’s will for a Christian to be wealthy and for a Christian to be physically healed provided that he or she has sufficient faith. W-F theology dominates Christian television and is led by people such as Benny Hinn, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Jesse Duplantis, Joyce Meyer, and Joel Osteen. Topics covered: Abuse of Tongues, Spectacular Claims, Heavenly Encounters, Bizarre Behavior, Slaying in the Spirit, Divine Revelation Knowledge, Occultic / Demonic, False Prophecies
Dangerous Doctrines of the WoF Movement: Positive Confession, Substance of Faith, Little gods Doctrine, the Fall, Jesus Christ are covered in A Call for Discernment is not intended as a personal attack on anyone, it is simply, as the name implies, a call to the church for discernment. It would be easy to make the assumption that this is an anti-charismatic seminar. Such is not the case. When it comes to the fundamental tenets of orthodox Christianity, charismatics are in agreement with me as a Southern Baptist. I am not charismatic, but neither am I anti-charismatic. The Word of Faith Movement, however, does at times denigrate and even deny some of the fundamental, non-negotiable truths of the Christian Faith (as documented in the seminar, especially in Sessions 1 and 2).
“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” Discernment Gene Becoming Recessive? I engage in many conversations with my fellow Christians about various issues, not the least of which is the current predicament in the church. I’m speaking about the proliferating doctrines, practices and beliefs that are rampant among Christians that follow popular pastors, televangelists, and authors and other leaders that are not biblically sound. Marginalizing Christianity by quoting Jesus. The implication of the “Judge not” admonition, is that people, particularly Christians, are not permitted to criticize what they perceive as immoral. Such an assumption is patently absurd. The point Jesus made is that we should not condemn anyone when we are even more guilty of the same offense…. If you are an avid reader of newspaper editorial columns, you can’t help but notice two reoccurring themes that come around with nauseating regularity. Both of them deal with supposed teachings of Christ. Both of them are warped, Orwellian interpretations of the whole passage understood in context. Both offer a Christian pretext, but actually marginalize Christian ethics in favor of a contrary worldview.
In these Last Days as deception and apostasy worsens, there seem to be particular centers which draw a higher number of deceivers than usual. Just as we cannot accept an “apostle”, “prophet”, or “teacher” just because they say so, neither can we accept someone simply because they claim some kind of special gifting. As with all things spiritual, our discernment to examine their fruit determines the degree to which it conforms to God’s Word. (Excerpt) (more…)
