There is a great need in the body of Christ. A few years ago I was in a rapidly growing church that was moving more and more over to an ear pleasing message of candy for the Saints. Sadly much of the Church today is entertainment based, saying “I got blessed”. “I didn’t get any thing out of todays worship” We have turned church into a specator sport when we are to be in the game. Why the cross? One of the greatest philosophers ever stated that “Perhaps the deity can forgive sins, but I don’t see how?”
What great insight to the enigma of a righteous and holy God to be reconciled to sinful man. God had a problem. His holiness cannot allow sin. Sin is transgression against Gods law.
