Rob Bell Oprah Winfrey Harpo Studios, George Burns photoOn Oprah is a new eclass with Rob Bell.  For some $$ Quote…

“With practical tools, tips and spirit-awakening work, Rob leads students to experience life as a gift. As a lifelong student of the heart…” (emphasis mine) -Rob Bells eclass promo.

Rob’s disdain for biblical authority as we have painstakingly documented has allowed him to join forces with New Age Priestess Oprah Winfrey.

When anyone says follow your heart or is found of what’s in our heart is problematic. The bible has much too say about our heart. Also is the issue of Spiritual Awakening!  What New Age Infiltrators mean by awakening.  It’s NOT BIBLICAL.  By incorporating Eastern Mystical Facets & tossing a Christian label, many unsuspecting people are sucked into The New Spirituality.

Rob Bell’s & The New Spirituality

In a recent article by Lighthouse Trails they note and I also concur!

Rob Bell,Oprah,New Age,Promotions,

Bell was promoting the New Age. In a 2007 article, a Lighthouse Trails stated, “Velvet Elvis and Bell’s Noomas are a trojan horse that will deliver to young unsuspecting kids from Christian homes a hearty helping of the New Age (i.e., mysticism and panentheism). And if they are introduced to the New Age under the guise of Christian literature, many of them will be seduced by ‘doctrines of devils.’”

Bell, who stepped down from the evangelical pastorate in 2011, the most influential New Ager in the world today. -Lighthouse Trails

Emergent leaders have from the beginning decided to follow the hearts of deceitful men.  Forsaking the authority of Gods word is always the first step to Apostasy.  A willful rejection of Gods revelation is either a coward or traitor.  See Emergent Origins Video.

The serious issues are that ecumenical movements and those given to the authority of scriptures will clash!  Some scriptures on the heart.

What does the bible say about the heart?

Jeremiah 17:9-10 ESV
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? “I the search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.”

Luke 6:45 ESV
The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

1 Samuel 16:7 ESV
But the said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the looks on the heart.”

Psalm 51:10 ESV
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

Luke 8:15 ESV
As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.

Ezekiel 36:26 ESV
And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

Proverbs 4:23 ESV
Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.

Mark 12:30 ESV
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’

Hebrews 13:9 ESV
Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them.

Genesis 8:21 ESV
And when the smelled the pleasing aroma, the Lord said in his heart, “I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.

2 Timothy 3:16 ESV
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

Isaiah 1:1-31 ESV
The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth; for the  Lord  has spoken: “Children have I reared and brought up, but they have rebelled against me. The ox knows its owner, and the donkey its master’s crib, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand.” Ah, sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, children who deal corruptly! They have forsaken the Lord, they have despised the Holy One of Israel, they are utterly estranged. Why will you still be struck down? Why will you continue to rebel? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

Genesis 6:5 ESV
The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Psalm 71:1-24 ESV
In you, O Lord, do I take refuge; let me never be put to shame! In your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; incline your ear to me, and save me! Be to me a rock of refuge, to which I may continually come; you have given the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. Rescue me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of the unjust and cruel man. For you, O Lord, are my hope, my trust, O  Lord, from my youth.

Psalm 119:11 ESV
I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
