There was a time when ideas like yoga or eastern meditation in the church were only associated with Christ Science churches, Universalist Churches, and a few spurious non-biblical fringe places. In a few scant decades, the walls have been so completely torn down that we not only see no harm in these things, we promote them. This is exactly what Theosophist (Luciferian) leader Alice Bailey predicted would be part of the new age infiltration into the church: (more…)
America, as well as other “Christian” nations, seemingly are becoming more and more ungodly by the hour. Just a quick scan of daily news articles and consideration of current trends will more than support this conclusion. With that in mind, there is probably no greater book to address this concern than the often dismal but ever important Book of Judges, and a better understanding of its literary structure will assist in unlocking its much needed far-reaching message. The overall theme of this book is one that every believer needs to consider personally, prayerfully, and carefully. Of course, that theme is apostasy.

Below is an article a ex pastor had commented and shared of Facebook. My wife read the article and was grieved and asked me and her school mate from High School to read it. Lorie, who has been delivered from the LGBT lifestyle gives her response. Here is a small excerpt from Christianity Today:
She interrupted the sermon I was preaching. “Excuse me. I don’t mean any disrespect. I’m a lesbian. You’re talking about all of this love and mercy. What does this mean for me?”
It was the launch day of our church plant in Long Beach, California. Long Beach has a large LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual) population. (Only West Hollywood has a higher LGBT population in Los Angeles.) Excerpt from Christianity Today on LGBT (more…)
Dear God, I want to know your purpose for my life. I don’t want to base the rest of my life on wrong things. I want to take the first step in preparing for eternity by getting to know you.Jesus Christ, I don’t understand how but as much as I know how I want to open up my life to you. Make yourself real to me. And use this series in my life to help me know what you made me for.

Norman Vincent Peale may not be a familiar name to many in the church but he is called by some as one of the greatest spiritual leaders of our time. This being true, one must wonder what spirituality they are speaking of.
He was called one of the best known Protestant ministers. Peale was the pastor the Marble Collegiate Church, a Reformed Church in America congregation in New York City, from the year 1932 to 1984. At the time of his retirement, the church had 5,000 members, and tourists lined up around the block to hear Peale preach. Peale’s weekly radio program, “The Art of Living,” was broadcast on NBC for 54 years. His sermons were mailed to 750,000 people a month. His Guidepost Magazine continues its popularity today having a circulation of more than 4.5 million, the largest for any religious publication. (more…)
It is important that every church member know if their church is targeted for a Purpose Driven Church takeover. Initially, a small clique of church staff, possibly including the pastor or a new pastor, plans the change without telling the rest of the church membership
Church Transitions, an associate of Saddleback Church in California, trains the clique initiating the change in eight published steps. The church membership is not to be informed of the transition until the fourth step. Why you may ask? Get informed, and excellent video documentary by NTEB. (more…)
Postmodern liberalism, which has slithered into the Church with the Emergent movement, shares intellectual roots with fascism. One of the most popular postmodernist tendencies within aesthetics is deconstruction. Deconstruction is a postmodern and Emergent tactic of textual analysis, typically literary critique, that questions presuppositions, ideological underpinnings, hierarchical values and power structures within any given text. Deconstructive approaches apply techniques of close reading of the text without reference to information outside of the text or an authority over the text such as the author. One famous deconstructionist famously wrote, “There is nothing outside of the text.”1 (more…)
Leonard Sweet and Brian McLaren devote an entire chapter to postmodern deconstruction in their book A is For Abductive. In the chapter entitled “V is for Voice” they quote from Heidegger’s essay on Heraclitus and his take on the Logos.15 The authors state that deconstruction is “one of the most important philosophical /interpretive concepts of postmodernity.” They say that deconstruction “begins by questioning many of the assumptions of traditional interpretation.” One example comes to mind…
Tony Jones also says:
What does this say about what we believe about God? In some ways, it seems, we were following the lead of Derrida and other postmodern deconstructionists in questioning the very premises of the Christianity that we had inherited. (more…)
Warren Smith discusses the New Age and it’s explosive growth in the Church. Oprah, Joel Osteen, Brian McLaren, and Rick Warren have all helped further the dreams of occultist Alice Bailey to use the Church to herald the coming of the New Age by using “…occultism awakening the mystical faculties”
The woman who coined the term New Age, occultist Alice Bailey, (believing that we were on the threshold of a new spiritual awakening) said that this new enlightened age would come, not around the Christian church, but rather through it. She said the outer layers would be initially kept intact (i.e., Christian terminology would still be used) but the changes would take place obscurely from the inside. (more…)
Christian Mysticism and the Original Lie… The Origin of Hidden Knowledge
Has God said? spoke the serpent the ole devil to Eve in Genesis 3:1-7
All lies have their origin here. Truly God has told us the end from the beginning. Isaiah 46:9-10
“Remember the former things of old: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else; [I am] God, and [there is] none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times [the things] that are not [yet] done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure…” (more…)
I was recently asked to take part in a series of articles with TTUF (James Fire) and Anne Kisly. We will look at three elements of the Third Wave. Political (James), Economic (Anne) and I will take on the Religious aspect. As I began to go over notes and study more into depth, many of the same players kept coming to the surface. In this first article we will look into the Origins of the Third Wave. As we move along I will bring into view the origins, the players, agenda, influences, and prophetic implications of what I will call a cult right up front. We will see that the shakers and movers have another gospel and another Jesus. 2 Corinthians 11:3-4 (more…)
Rick Warren Endorses 2013 Book, “Catholics Come Home” – Calls Catholic Evangelization “Critically Important”
April 1st, 2013 | Author: Lighthouse Trails Editors
A picture (and an endorsement) say a thousand words See what “America’s Pastor” is saying about this 2013 release on the Roman Catholic” new evangelization program to bring back the “lost [Protestant] brethren” to the “Mother Church”:
The dangers of postmodernism can be viewed as a downward spiral that begins with the rejection of absolute truth, which then leads to a loss of distinctions in matters of religion and faith, and culminates in a philosophy of religious pluralism that says no faith or religion is objectively true and therefore no one can claim his or her religion is true and another is false. Dangers of Postmodernism – #1 – Relative Truth: Postmodernism’s stance of relative truth is the outworking of many generations of philosophical thought. (more…)
A book called “The Circle Maker” has made the rounds through churches as the latest “new method” to access untold blessings from God. Written by Pastor Mark Batterson of National Community Church in Washington D.C., The Circle Maker teaches a new method of prayer by drawing a circle either on the ground or in the Bible based on an old Jewish legend from the Talmud and misuses verses from the Bible to put a new spin on the Prosperity Gospel heresy that wrongly teaches that Christians can receive whatever material blessing they want from God. Not only is this a false teaching and heresy, it is also embracing concepts from witchcraft. The popularity of this book among Christians is yet another sign of the growing apostasy as the church moves away from the Bible to adopt any new method even if it is linked to the occult. (more…)

Although Satan had tried to defile Israel in order to prevent the coming of the Messiah, he failed. Jesus’ arrival marked a new phase in God’s plan of redemption. The Gospel message would then explode exponentially as more disciples came into the faith. Now Satan moves out to defile the Church. Babylon invades the Church. When the Roman Empire established Christianity as the only legal religion in the late fourth century, many pagans became associated with Christian churches. They practiced the pagan religion the Babylonians had adopted in the 22nd century B.C.,3 which involved the worship of a goddess addressed as “The Holy Virgin,” “The Virgin Mother,” and “Queen of Heaven and Earth.” 4 The Roman pagans Christianized those titles by ascribing them to the virgin Mary, and the Roman Church eventually adopted them through syncretism. Jude warned the church to contend for the faith against apostates who attempt to steal away disciples. In verse 4 of his epistle, he wrote, “For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only sovereign and Lord.” Jude identifies the apostates by certain characteristics. They are ungodly because they supplant God’s sovereign authority with an authority of their own. Apostates turn the grace of God into a commodity that can be bought, bartered or merited. They pervert the gospel of grace into a gospel of works. They deny the supremacy and sovereignty of Christ and give His divine attributes and titles to others. (more…)
