Here at Amos37 we have been following many topics and issues in the Church, apostasy, etc…  One thing that always comes up is the reckless abandonment of the authority of Gods word.  Always.  Today one of the most dangerous movements is Dominionism in all it’s forms from Conservatives to the Signs & Wonders crazy stuff. It in a nutshell presents an inverted and perverted view of the mission of the Church.  It is our hope to expose the error of this for those who are getting sucked into this “MAN CENTERED” doctrine of Dominionism. Some groups hold to a conservative hermeneutic till they get to prophetic passages and then abandon it for an allegorical method.  Prayerfully sort through this series of messages.  It is primarily the issue of man supplanting God and exalting himself.  Our audio series on the Kingdom Parables in Matthew 13 by the Lord Jesus Himself outlines the enemies of the gospel and the timeline.   (continue reading…)

A coalition of 150 Catholic, Orthodox and evangelical leaders, calling themselves “Christians” and “fellow believers,” have joined together in ecumenical unity to fight against abortion, same-sex marriage and anything that betrays their religious beliefs. On November 20th, a 4,700-word document called the Manhattan Declaration: A Call of Christian Conscience was released (http://manhattandeclaration.org/). Many believe that we are the generation that will witness the return of Christ. I know many good people who read this version. While studying the New Age movement I was stunned at the variety of version and addition and worse deletions in many versions.  None are perfect.  However many are based on different transcripts of the Greek text.  This paraphrased version (NIV) of the Holy Scripture is designed speak in todays language, but is not faithful to the original text.    I’m not a KJV only guy, I know the history of the Manuscripts and the men behind them.  Recall deceivers are everywhere.
