Wisdom of The Cross Part 2 Video HD

by on Jul.29, 2011, under Doctrine, Prophecy 101, Soul Winning

Bible teacher Keith McKenzie goes where most Pastors won’t today. To the Cross of Christ. Too many today stay away from the preaching of the Cross and have lost the power of the gospel message. No wonder so many Churches today are looking to Purpose Driven, Entertainment, Best Life Now, and Emergent Mystical practices.

Keith brings a straight word of how the Lord Jesus stripped Satan and his forces of their authority and took the keys of Death & Hell to purchase all who will put their faith in Him. (continue reading…)

Where is the New Age Now Part 2

by on May.23, 2011, under Emergent Church, New Age, Occult

As discussed in Part 1 of this series, the New (Age) Spirituality which is “paganism (the occult) in modern dress” continued to grow through the 1990s and has become even more prominent during the first decade of the 21st century. It currently can be found in the work place, hospitals, public schools, prisons, on television, in bookstores, and as we will be discussing, it has been welcomed by the Church with open arms!  Mystical Meditation is the foundation of New (Age) Spirituality and has entered the Church in two main forms. The most transparent of which is called “Christian” Yoga. (continue reading…)

Rob Bell’s Corrupt Bibliology

by on May.08, 2011, under Emergent Church

I wanted to get back to you sooner after reading your post on Rob Bell.  This man is dangerous in his handling of the word of God.  First he does not even believe it is.  For his many errors this is the first place to look at.  His view of the bible as quoted below.   If you trust the bible then you need to look closer at what this man is doing.  I invite you to read the below and listen to this classic sermon we have linked below.  I personally have seen this so many times over, it grieves me deeply. Rick Warren The UN & The Global Church

by on Apr.25, 2011, under Church Growth, Emergent Church, Globalism, The UN

“If you love truth, you may want to say no! For in his book Soul Tsunami, Dr. Sweet, a popular leader of the Emerging Church, tells us to flow with the currents of change and leave God’s unchanging gospel behind. “Postmodern culture is a change-or-be changed world,” he continues. “Reinvent yourself for the 21st century or die. Some would rather die than change.”  Excerpt from below.”  Really we here at Amos37 and many others smell a rat.  See our series on Kingdom Now Exposed on the Kingdom Parables of Jesus. by on Apr.22, 2011, under End Time Signs

For many of us we see the Second Coming of Christ and the gathering of His Church is imminent.  Below the Apostle Peter tells us that the coming Judgement on a Christ rejecting world will begin at the house of God (Church).  If this is true and it is.  Then how would we see the Church judged.  Below is a list of movements that all have some significant issues that lead to false teachings and blindness of those who may seeking God.  God knows who are His own. Universalist Rob Bell: Love wins or Love won

by on Apr.02, 2011, under Commentary

Here is a troubling video by one of the most popular self-proclaimed “real pastor of a real church..”  His name Rob Bell.  He pilots the mega church of Mars Hill Bible Church.  Nice brand name.  First I would like to do something else with my time, but Rob is on MSNBC and many other media outlets twisting the very words of Christ.  And as many of his contemporary New Liberals are leading many in his church onto the reefs of doctrinal destruction that challenges orthodox beliefs.  Gee the bible told us this would happen over and over.  See our Kingdom Parables Series. Church Growth Recall

by on Feb.13, 2011, under Church Growth

Many Christians have an incorrect view about what the Purpose-Driven Network, the Willowcreek Association and Leadership Network are. Many mistakenly believe these organizations are churches, or some form of a quasi-denomination. They’re not. These organizations are businesses and these businesses offer knowledge based products to the church leader / pastor market.  These market driven pastors have franchised the Church of Jesus Christ by catering to the customers felt needs.  McChurch with happy meal gospel. Seeker Sensitive=No Gospel

by on Feb.12, 2011, under Apologetics, Church Growth

Their pastor was trying to convert their church to a Purpose Driven one in order to facilitate church growth. They had been in the church for many years and wished it to remain a Bible church. They had expressed that opinion publicly. The pastor came to pay them a visit. The lady thought he was there to visit her dying husband, but instead came to tell them that they should find another church. He may as well have told them that he did not care to perform the funeral. (continue reading…)

by on May.29, 2010, under Apologetics, Commentary, Emergent Church

Is Your Church Going Emergent

by on Mar.02, 2010, under Emergent Church

If the Emerging Church continues unfolding at the present pace, mainstream evangelical Christianity will be reinvented and the gospel of Jesus Christ according to the Scriptures will be considered too narrow and too restrictive. In other words, the narrow way to heaven that Jesus proclaimed will eventually be abandoned for a wider way that embraces pagan experiential practices. I call this reinvented, re-imagined form of Christianity that is unfolding—“Christian Babylonianism”. (continue reading…)

Meet the Mentors

Brian McLarens Mentors

But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great [is] that darkness! Matthew 6:23

There is a progression that takes place in liberal theology: It begins with a corrupt bibliology, a corrupt view of the nature and the inspiration of Scripture. They have a corrupt theology because once you are picking and choosing from the Bible what you want, your theology has to suffer from it, because your human reason is corrupt… every major theological seminary that has turned from orthodox Christianity began with disbelief of Biblical doctrine. There wasn’t a single exception. (continue reading…)

EC Has God Said

The Emergent Church

The Emerging Church movement philosophers and theologians insist that truth is only known and validated within communities and since we cannot know absolute truth we cannot be dogmatic about doctrine.  The mantra “Did God really say…” which is the same words used by Satan to deceive Eve in the Garden of Eden echoes throughout the Emerging Church Philosophy. Insider leaves Emergent Church

AN INSIDER LEAVES THE EMERGING CHURCH

Once upon a time I was enamored by the “I-am-not-a-movement-but-a-conversation” known as the emerging church (In fact, at my seminary I’ve been known as Emergent Jeremy!) Five years ago, I stumbled upon an “emerging” author known as Brian McLaren (even attending his church for a stint). I gobbled-up his “A New Kind of Christian” trilogy because it’s question-asking permissive narrative gave flesh to the phantom that was haunting me at the time… (continue reading…)
