The Latter Rain movement of the late 40′s had given birth to numerous other sub-teachings. The Manifest Sons of God was divided into two major sects. The Walk, and the Body of Christ. The Walk came out of the Latter Rain Movement under the “apostleship” of John Robert Stevens, who like Paul Cain and others was a William Branham disciple. I have been following David Barton of Wallbuilders unholy alliance with Mormon Glen Beck.  First I like Glen’s powerful exposes on the corruption of our present government excesses.  What has troubled me and surprisingly few others is that Glen Beck is being propped up by well meaning people for “Political Expediency” and have in David Barton’s case called Glen Beck a Christian.  Glen openly has stated he is a Mormon and has researched all of Mormonism and gone through the Temple rituals.  This is dangerous!  One Mormonism is and always has been a cult.  See Mormonism Section for extensive information. Ultimately all cults find a way to twist the scriptures and preach another Jesus and another gospel.  2 Corinthians 11:4, Galatians 1:6-10.  We must be able to discern that not all who claim the name of Jesus really know Jesus.  Counterfeits are made to pass as the real thing.  Doctrine is teaching and many cults do a far better job of teaching the cultist what they believe than do many Churches what Christians believe.  A sad commentary today is Mormons convert more Baptists and Catholics because they don’t know why they believe what they believe.  All of us will have the opportunity to witness the truth about the cults and true love will risk offending the person to save that soul from a Christ-less eternity.
