A Golden Trumpet

by on Jul.27, 2011, under Hebrew Roots (Shoreshim), Patterns in Prophecy, Rapture

The view that the Rapture will occur at the mid-point of the Tribulation is based upon 1 Corinthians 15:52 which states that the Rapture will occur at the blowing of “the last trumpet.” This Mid-Tribulation Rapture view then declares this trumpet to be the last of the seven trumpets in Revelation 11 that is blown at the mid-point of the Tribulation. Why of the 114 references to trumpets in the Scripture these two are identified as one and the same only defies sound Scriptural research! The context clearly shows the last trumpet of 1 Corinthians 15 is blown for believers whereas the seven trumpets (of judgments) of Revelation 8, 9 and 11 are sounded for unbelievers. The Revelation trumpets therefore can have no relevance for the Church!  There are many trumpets mentioned in the bible. (continue reading…)

Jesus Celebrated Hanukkah

by on Dec.02, 2010, under Hebrew Roots (Shoreshim)

Much more than the “Jewish alternative” to Christmas, Hanukkah, which means “dedication”, recalls a dark time in the history of our Jewish people, and our miraculous deliverance from that darkness. This eight-day holiday commemorates the victory of the Maccabees over the army of Antiochus Epiphanes, a time when God preserved and protected his people through the heroic act of a small band of Jewish guerilla fighters. Yom Teruah Part 1

by on Jul.07, 2010, under Feasts of The LORD, Hebrew Roots (Shoreshim), Rapture

A brief introduction to The Feasts of the LORD.  In short God gave 7 feasts of His own choosing.  These would be practices for the coming Messiah. by on Jan.28, 2010, under End Time Signs, Feasts of The LORD

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.  Joel 2:31
Below is an excellent video interview in two half hour segments.  Pastor Mark Biltz shows how he used the Hebrew calendar outlined in Genesis 1:14 for signs, season, days and years given by God.  Pastor Mark then made an amazing link between the moon cycles, eclipses with the feasts of Lord.  It will both bless and encourage you how God is working on His calendar and not ours.  See related articles we have on (continue reading...)
