Bill Johnson’s False Gospel

by on Jan.08, 2012, under Kingdom Now/Dominionism, New Age, Signs & Wonders

By combining signs and wonders with a false Christology that denies the deity of Christ, Johnson has placed his followers in the center of end time deception. Now rather than the one “Anointed One” (Jesus Christ who is unique), there are many “anointed ones” who supposedly can do greater miracles than Jesus. This situation is described in the Bible: “Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen; from this we know that it is the last hour” (1 John 2:18). “Antichrists” as understood from the Greek, are substitute “anointed ones.” In the Bible, all Christians are equally “anointed” by God, and only Jesus specially anointed, i.e., the Messiah.[10] An elite group of specially anointed ones who comprise the “Elijah generation” as taught in Bill Johnson’s Latter Rain theology would qualify as antichrists. LDS Upon This False Prophet

by on Nov.24, 2011, under Mormon

One of the most amazing ironies of Mormonism hinges on its central tenet that it was founded by Joseph Smith, who claimed that he was called of God to re-establish Christ’s true Church on the earth.  The Mormons revere Joseph Smith as a true prophet of God and the holy man upon whom God himself laid this authority to administer God’s people and usher in this last dispensation of time. If his claims to having seen God and Christ and receiving his prophet-hood and authority from them were really true, two very important things would follow.   (continue reading…)

LDS The Mind Warp

by on Nov.22, 2011, under Mormon

Over the years of this ministry, I have reviewed so many of the LDS books, magazines, documents, articles and pieces of correspondence we have gathered over the years. The material is vastly divergent but through it all is one central theme that leaps from the pages. I guess I would call it the “How could anyone in their right mind believe that??” question.  This is not surprising when you understand that almost every prophecy Joseph Smith uttered failed to come to pass. Yet, over 12 million people place their eternal salvation on the line in their testimony that he was/is the one (continue reading…)

Dominionism Exposed: Heresy

by on Nov.05, 2011, under Kingdom Now/Dominionism

Critical to this belief is the understanding that prophecy is something that you can grow in (learn) as opposed to an outright gift. While the point can be made that you can learn how to use the gift, it remains a gift nonetheless. And one which must be judged. At the Morningstar Church students reportedly sit at tables on the sides of the auditorium and will give you a prophecy (reading) if you ask. Sometimes they miss it, but that’s alright, they are learning. Contrast that with a statement from John Bevere, who in his seminal work on prophecy “Thus Saith the Lord” states that “There is no Junior Holy Spirit.” (continue reading…)

Dominionism Exposed: Origins

by on Nov.05, 2011, under Kingdom Now/Dominionism

Here at Amos37 we have been following many topics and issues in the Church, apostasy, etc…  One thing that always comes up is the reckless abandonment of the authority of Gods word.  Always.  Today one of the most dangerous movements is Dominionism in all it’s forms from Conservatives to the Signs & Wonders crazy stuff. It in a nutshell presents an inverted and perverted view of the mission of the Church.  It is our hope to expose the error of this for those who are getting sucked into this “MAN CENTERED” doctrine of Dominionism. Some groups hold to a conservative hermeneutic till they get to prophetic passages and then abandon it for an allegorical method.  Prayerfully sort through this series of messages.  It is primarily the issue of man supplanting God and exalting himself.  Our audio series on the Kingdom Parables in Matthew 13 by the Lord Jesus Himself outlines the enemies of the gospel and the timeline.   (continue reading…)

I have been following David Barton of Wallbuilders unholy alliance with Mormon Glen Beck.  First I like Glen’s powerful exposes on the corruption of our present government excesses.  What has troubled me and surprisingly few others is that Glen Beck is being propped up by well meaning people for “Political Expediency” and have in David Barton’s case called Glen Beck a Christian.  Glen openly has stated he is a Mormon and has researched all of Mormonism and gone through the Temple rituals.  This is dangerous!  One Mormonism is and always has been a cult.  See Mormonism Section for extensive information.
