Session 04 of our Cornerstone Discipleship Series day 4 and 5 of Creation out of the Genesis account. Here in Genesis 1:14 we have an interesting Hebrew word (Moed) that is very important to our understanding. This introduction is a key very early to understanding Gods use of patterns and prophecy which is a blessing to the Church.  We also look at how it relates to our New Testament understanding. Signs and Seasons play a very large role in the bible so we look at a Hebraic understanding for today.  Leviticus 23 expands this concept to Israel.

Why Study or read Torah portions as a Christian… Aren’t we done with that stuff?  Actually you can gain great insight that much of the Church has lost in our roots of our faith.  After the resurrection of the Lord Jesus He presented Himself to two disciples on the Road to Emmaus Luke 24:13-27 and began to talk with them.  As He questioned them He began to expound what the Moses (Torah) “And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.”  This was before the New Testament was compiled.
