Dr. Mark Hitchcock and Mr. Hank Hanegraaff debate the date of the Book of Revelation. The debate took place on December 10, 2007 at the annual Pre-Trib Study Group meeting in Dallas, TX. Dr. Hichcock will argue for the AD 95 date. Mr. Hanegraaff will argue for the AD 65 date. In Gaza, Hamas controls a permanent population in a defined territory (i.e., Gaza within the armistice lines of 1949). Gaza has a functioning, if odious, government. And Hamas-controlled Gaza already conducts international relations with a large number of states. But now, millennia after Rome expelled the Jews and renamed the land Palestine, these Edomites are considered to be “Palestinian” Arabs. These so-called “Palestinian” Arabs are now trying to revise the much older history of Israel and so describe themselves as victims of the Israeli state. There are more Arabs in Israel today than there were in 1948 before many of them left. The news media and the Palestinians tell us that Israel forced them to leave in 1948. That is not true.

Today many who are in Church do not realize the importance that Israel and Jerusalem will play in Gods ultimate plan for the nations and yes Israel.  God is not done with Israel.  So why has it become such an international issue to so many as the prophet Zechariah 12 spoke of.  Today the President of the USA will press again the issue of dividing the land God has given to Israel with to the Palestinians.  The Palestinians are the ancient people the Edomites and this is the ancient hatred Ezekiel 35:5 and this is the issue which God will enter into judgement Joel 3:2 with all the nations who come against Israel for the purpose of dividing the land.  Let’s look at Edom who is Esau a little closer. The Parable of the Fig Tree, the Lord Jesus gave the most amazing sign of the end of the age as his disciples had asked for in Matthew 24. Two parts that will help you to see the budding of the fig tree as we should be getting the gospel out to the world. Not to stick your head in the sand. “The final move has begun,” said Ahmadinejad. “We are in the middle of a world revolution managed by this dear (12th Imam). A great awakening is unfolding.
