Hamas means violence חמס

Hamas:  It is a familiar term we have heard in the daily news.  A group dedicated to the destruction of Israel.  I was most thrilled when I found this article by Rabbi Jon-Jay Tilsen below.  He stated Hamas is Hebrew word for violence.  Let’s look at a brief lexicon result for this word.

Witness to Muslims

There is a war in heaven!  It is a war of the forces of Light verses the satanic forces of darkness.  See Revelation 12:7 and Daniel 10 for this heavenly battleground.  We as Christians once walked in darkness Ephesians 5:8-11, but now are children of the light.

Psalms 119 is a wonderful oration on the many facets of the word of God…Read it and just ponders all the mention of the word of God.  Vs.130 says, “The entrance of your words…gives light…” It is the word of God that you will employ in your battle for the salvation of souls, whether they are Muslim or anyone in darkness.  The greatest area of darkness where the gospel is nearly absent is called the 10/40 window.  It is largely the Arab nations and Asia that are in great darkness. Jihad & Terrorism

Since the end of World War II the UN has spent most of it’s time resolving the Arab-Israeli conflict.  Israel only accounts for 1/6 of 1% of all the Arab land, yet has become a “very heavy stone”.  God will use this tiny nation to show himself God and that He is not done with the Jewish people.

Jihad in short is a Muslim expression of spiritual struggle against the forces of evil.  Jihad comes from the Arabic verb Jahada that is to exert.  To be perfectly fair to all Muslims, Jihad is different to different people.  Many among the Muslim community disagree as to the true way to partake in Jihad.  Just like we of the Christian community have varied interpretations on the rapture, works, and prophecy.  It is up to us to understand that it is the fundamentalists Muslim that will go to the length of killing themselves in the cause of Allah.  We will look at the radical element within Islam.  Videos attached below. The history of Islam is one that is fascinating with its extraordinary growth that it experienced in the years following the prophet Muhammad.  Let’s take a look at the prophet and the history of Islam up to the 20th century.

Muhammad the prophet of Islam is believed to be the final prophet sent by Allah to bring true Islam back.  Islam is taught as the original faith that Allah (God) gave to Adam as His first prophet.  Noah, Abraham, Noah, Solomon, and Jesus are listed as prophets of Islam.  None is greater than Muhammad according to the teachings of the Qur’an (Koran). The writers comment…This continues to plague Israel..the inevitable attack by Iran on Israel…And it is more apparent Israel will be without allies. So as she makes preparations and I believe they are in place right now…The recent NIE security report which sites Iran has stopped it’s program to develop nuclear weapons..without any proof of validating, you would be a fool to accept..Secondly the Arab world generally has a fear or concern of Iran Having such a arsenal. They would probably stand by and watch as Israel took out this threat…

Israel Threatens to Decimate Lebanon

Israel Defense Forces make bold move on Syria. Attached below are excerpts from two articles on what we here at Amos 3:7 think could be the precursor event to the war of Gog and Magog.

Damascus is home of several terror organizations. North Korea, Russia and Iran all of whom are in the Axis of evil club. All using the more than willing government of Syria with their harsh rhetoric with Israel to wipe them out are currently building up for war with Israel.
