Very recently, two significant statements were made regarding the controversial King’s Way Islamic partnership from Saddleback Church. First, Pastor Rick Warren denied ever launching the Islamic partnership, blaming it all on a few members who simply gathered to talk about it in a Bible study without consulting him or his staff.  We submit that “Rick Warren Falls off his High Horse Again…”  A brief history of the confusing world of Rick Warren and a lack of integrity.

Pastor Warren even denied what other Saddleback leaders told the local newspaper two weeks ago: That yes, King’s Way was indeed an official church ministry, and that of course, their boss Rick Warren did indeed know and approve of the partnership. (continue reading…)

What Stephen Sizer, Gary Burge, Colin Chapman, Lyn Hybels, Naim Ateek, Sammy & Alex Awad, Salim Munyaner and Tony Campolo Don’t Want You to Know.  Historian: Israel safest place in Mideast for Christians.  The steep drop in the number of Christians living in the Palestinian Authority-controlled territories is often blamed on Israel. But Middle East historian and Israel’s current ambassador to the US, Michael Oren, says that a similar erosion of Christian populations in other countries in the region suggests the Palestinian narrative is simply not true, and that Israel is in fact the safest place in the Middle East for Christians today.

Christ at the Checkpoint goes on record to mock those who hold to a literal interpretation of the bible.  Pastor Wayne Hilsden (token conservative) at the anti zionist political rally.   However, the very next speaker, Dr. Manfred Kohl, laid into Wayne’s theology in no uncertain terms.  While he did not address Wayne personally, Kohl labeled the literal reading of scripture Hilsden had just presented as the theology of fools who delight in their own idiocy.  The Theology of Fools, Really Dr. Kohl?  A full video expose on the theology of the leaders of this at the bottom of the page. Marginalizing Christianity by quoting Jesus.  The implication of the “Judge not” admonition, is that people, particularly Christians, are not permitted to criticize what they perceive as immoral. Such an assumption is patently absurd. The point Jesus made is that we should not condemn anyone when we are even more guilty of the same offense….  If you are an avid reader of newspaper editorial columns, you can’t help but notice two reoccurring themes that come around with nauseating regularity. Both of them deal with supposed teachings of Christ. Both of them are warped, Orwellian interpretations of the whole passage understood in context. Both offer a Christian pretext, but actually marginalize Christian ethics in favor of a contrary worldview.

Christ at the Checkpoint 2012 will be hosted by Bethlehem Bible College. Raed Salah supporters Stephen Sizer and Ben White are due to speak there. Sizer is listed as an organiser.  Bethlehem Bible College has a worrying track record on antisemitism. They sent lecturer Alex Awad to represent the college, and share a platform with Hitler-admirer and Holocaust denier Frederick Tobin in Indonesia. Stephen Sizer also attended this conference in Indonesia, as did Iranian Holocaust denier and Faurisson admirer Jawad Shabarf.  Seismic Shock web page has some good information. Dominionism shares some of the same ideologies as the emerging church, the primary similarity being the belief that a utopian “kingdom of God” will be set up on earth prior to the return of Jesus Christ, and in fact there won’t actually be a bodily physical return of Christ; but rather His presence will become more manifest within us the more the kingdom of God on earth is created. This is totally contrary to Scripture that tells us that Jesus Christ will return physically (where every eye shall see Him), and it will be to a world that has become completely chaotic and reprobate, not utopian and godly. The “keepers of truth” who feed us their skewed philosophy by what they deem as newsworthy (i.e. political correctness) will continue to vilify anyone who dares use the “C” word in describing a person, his beliefs, or a publicly respected entity such as the LDS Church. However, I can’t help it and hope you’ll join me in thanking Robert Jeffress, for Mormonism is a slick and dangerous cult and following it leads everyone who does so to eternal destruction.
