Today we look at the grace of God. It is the method of which the Justice of Gods righteousness is satisfied and Mercy can be extended to sinful mankind.

The famous Greek philosopher Socrates to Plato in 500 B.C. made an astute observation in a quote to Plato.

“It may be that the Deity can forgive sins, but I do not see how.”

The Cross of Christ is the ultimate answer to mans dilemma of sin that separates them from a Holy God. What an amazing loving God who solved this age old problem through the blood of His cross.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-21

Wisdom of the Cross Part 3

Every one knows John 3:16-21, do you know the rest of the story. Most do not know the following verses which demonstrate our absolute need for grace!  This is the full gospel message almost NEVER taught in the Lukewarm American Churches.

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.  But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.  John 3:16-21

Share the good news!  It’s even better news when you look at our condition.  Praise God.
