Sometimes, when studying bible prophecy, it’s easy to get caught up in the details about “beasts” and “Anti-Christ’s’ and dragons; we can easily forget this is all happening right now. This is not a fairy tale. These are real people with real agendas. Part of this agenda has been in the implementation process since 1980 and 81’, with the debit and ATM system. Like a sheep waiting for the slaughter, we’ve walked right into the trap

And he causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or their forehead…

Chapter 12 A World Government & A World Religion

And he provides that no one will be able to buy or sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. “Here is wisdom…the number is that of a man, and his number is 666.” (Revelation 13:16-18)

In the tribulation period we see the Anti-Christ revealed, and then the slow, yet steady consolidation of power. First, the amazingly swift rebuilding process after The Rapture. Second, the birth pangs of a new religion-a plausible explanation for the rapture. Third, a miraculous recovery of some type of fatal head wound. Fourth, an international peace treaty involving Israel. Finally, we see the consolidation of power by creating a one world economic system requiring the 666 mark of the beast. However, you are being warned right now:

If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or his hand,

He also will drink of the wine of the wrath of god, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the lamb.

And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name. (Revelation 14:9-11)

At some point into the tribulation, probably close to the mid-point or the beginning of the Great Tribulation, Anti-Christ, through his False Prophet will require allegiance to him by instituting his mark, which will be an addendum to your “debit” or smart card with 666 or some other code symbolizing worship or allegiance to Anti-Christ. Obviously, if you wish to honor Christ, you will not take the mark. But don’t fear:

My God shall supply all your needs according to his riches and glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)

There will be a multitude of “Tribulation Saints,” those who have chosen to honor and trust in The Lord in these latter days, who will be supernaturally provided for during these times. Many also will die at the hands of Anti-Christ for their faith. Obviously, Anti-Christ is gaining in power and stature as time goes on. He’s also becoming more arrogant:

And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven.

It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him.

All who dwell on earth will worship him, everyone who’s name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the lamb who has been slain.

If anyone has an ear let him hear…here is the perseverance of the saints. (Revelation 13:6-9)

Oh, my friend, stay the course, do whatever you must to be saved. Abide in the Lord Jesus Christ, trust in Him with all your being. Resist this awful evil, and whatever you do: DON’T TAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST!

There is another Tribulation event that further reveals the identity of the anti-christ. Earlier we identified the city of Rome as the headquarters for the revival of the Holy Roman Empire from which Anti-Christ will emerge. Revelation 17:3 describes “the woman sitting on a scarlet beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.” The ten horns were identified in verse 12 as “Kings who would receive authority” from the Beast. In Daniel’s vision related in chapter 7 he also corroborates the ten horns as ten kings, yet his vision is much more revealing:

7 After this I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrifying and extremely strong; and it had large iron teeth. It devoured and crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet; and it was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.

8 While I was contemplating the horns, behold, another horn, a little one, came up among them, and three of the first horns were pulled out by the roots before it; and behold, this horn possessed eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth uttering great boasts.

17 …These great beasts, which are four in number, are four kings who will arise from the earth. Daniel 7: 7-8,17

Then I desired to know the exact meaning of the fourth beast,(The Last Beast) which was different from all the others, exceedingly dreadful, with its teeth of iron and its claws of bronze, and which devoured, crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet,

And the meaning of the ten horns that were on its head and the other horn which came up, and before which three of them fell, namely, that horn which had eyes and a mouth uttering great boasts and which was larger in appearance than its associates.

I kept looking, and that horn was waging war with the saints and overpowering them.

23 Thus he said: “The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth, which will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth and tread it down and crush it.

As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom, ten kings will arise; and another will arise after them, and he will be different from the previous ones and will subdue three kings.

He will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints, and he will intend to make alterations in times and in law; and they will given into his hand for a time, times, and a half a time (3 ½ yrs.)

This prophecy is just amazing. Is God not the author of history? The King of Kings and Lord of Lords?

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgements and unfathomable are His ways!

(Romans 11:33)

We can not explain all of the why’s of His plan, but we can explain His revelation because he has clearly given that to us through His holy word. His word has stood the test of time and stands as a testimony to you, gentle reader, to this day.

Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8)

And my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,

So that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.

But we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory;

The wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;

But just as it is written, “ things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him.” (1 Corinthians 2:4-9)

In Daniel chapter 7 the author receives a vision that was quite disturbing to him. In the vision he is shown four beasts or kingdoms. Three have already been proven to come to pass, but the fourth beast is of interest to us. In verse 19 Daniel “desired to know of the fourth beast, because it was different and exceedingly dreadful.” In verse 24 the 10 kings arise out of this kingdom, and “he will subdue three kings”. Apparently, there will be opposition from within the 10 nations or regions of the revived Roman Empire. At some point, 3 of the kings will not go along with Anti-Christ and his plans. We can only speculate as to why, but there will be an internal power struggle culminating with the elimination of three kings or leaders.

(Remember: this will be a very public event. These leaders are described in Daniel and Revelation as kings. You will know who they are when this event occurs.)

Now, the next verse in Daniel’s vision is interesting in that it changes focus:

He will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Highest One…and they will be given into his hand for a time, times and a half a time.
(Daniel 7: 25)

It seems plausible that the above power struggle is related to the persecution of Christians, because as soon as the three kings are subdued, Anti-Christ seems emboldened, and he “speaks out” against the Most High and begins his assault on the tribulation saints, those believers in Christ who stand as a visible reminder to Satan of who’s really in control. His true colors are starting to come out into the open.

Isn’t this a little out of character for a leader, who ostensibly espouses a religion of tolerance, harmony, and acceptance of the world’s religions as one, to be speaking out against “The Most High” and “wearing down” the saints of God? Maybe the three kings got a little too close and saw the system and future plans for what it really is? Evil continuously. But, the point is: this is a world event you will not miss.

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things, the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

Therefore do not be partakers with them.
(Ephesians 5:6,7)

It would seem Anti-Christ and his partner, the False Prophet will be saying “You can believe in any “God” you wish, except the one true triune God-The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. If this One World global government was prima fascia what it said it was; true and honorable and acting according to its stated goals and intentions why would its leader attempt to eliminate multitudes of followers of Christ. Wouldn’t that violate one of the tenets of this so-called one world religion?

Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, descendant of David, according to my gospel, For which I suffer hardship even to imprisonment as a criminal; but the word of God is not imprisoned. For this reason, I endure all things for the sake of those who are chosen, so that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus and with it eternal Glory. (2 Timothy 2: 8-10)
