Set Nothing Wicked Before Your Eyes
“I will set nothing wicked before my eyes,” wrote David (Psalm 101:3). We should adopt the same policy. This applies to what we read, watch on TV, and view on the Internet. The eyes on our faces are avenues to our souls, and if we view evil, we can easily become evil. The old saying, “Monkey see, monkey do,” reveals a deep truth. In these “last days” (2 Timothy 3:1), may God help us to focus our minds–and our eyes–on things that are good.

A couple of things to note quickly here. Stephanie Meyeres who wrote the book after having a dream is a Mormon. Mormonism has occult practices and their view of blood is skewed.
Quotes Worth Noting
“I woke up (on that June 2nd) from a very vivid dream. In my dream, two people were having an intense conversation in a meadow in the woods. One of these people was just your average girl. The other person was fantastically beautiful, sparkly, and a vampire. They were discussing the difficulties inherent in the facts that A) they were falling in love with each other while B) the vampire was particularly attracted to the scent of her blood, and was having a difficult time restraining himself from killing her immediately.” –Stephenie Meyer, her first dream that launched the Twilight saga.
“I actually did have a dream after Twilight was finished of Edward coming to visit me — only I had gotten it wrong and he did drink blood like every other vampire and you couldn’t live on animals the way I’d written it. We had this conversation and he was terrifying.” –Stephenie Meyer, her second dream after her first Twilight book was finished.
“Now in this day and age it seems impossible that anyone can believe in this nonsense [real vampirism], but in pop culture vampires are making a comeback in a big way. The blockbuster movie, Twilight is setting box office records on the big screen, while HBO’s True Blood is heating up the small screen… But vampires aren’t just tinsel town moneymakers, there’s actually a vampire subculture that exists in the United States right now and spreads into almost every community in this country.” –Sean Hannity, Fox News Report, Night Neighbors.
“We have clearly defined goals, projects, and activities that we both strive for and follow to completion. In addition to working with an assortment of members from our own community, we also consult with members of the media, law enforcement, clergy, and academia along with paranormalists, metaphysists, and those in related fields of interest to clarify the beliefs and viewpoints held by the majority of those who identify themselves as “real vampires.” –The Atlanta Vampire Alliance, quoted on their website (Mission and FAQ section).
“You shall not eat anything with the blood, nor shall you practice divination or soothsaying” (The Holy Bible, Leviticus 19:26, NKJV, emphasis added)
Media Advisory
NEWPORT, Wash./EWORLDWIRE/Nov. 13, 2009 — When the next Twilight film, New Moon, sinks its bloody fangs into global fans Nov. 20, best-selling author of 23 books Steve Wohlberg won’t be touting its moral benefits to teens. In fact, Wohlberg’s take on the movie is quite the contrary, because of rampant links to the dark and dangerous worlds of occultism and vampirism.
Wohlberg realizes that many parents and teens consider Stephenie Meyer’s tantalizing sequence of vampire romances to be wholesome fare because the Edward Cullen character is so noble, and he and Bella Swan wait until after marriage to have sex, yet his concerns are that hidden perils are intertwined with Twilight’s “morality,” and that Hollywood is fueling a mesmerizing and addictive, bloody phenomenon.
“Twilight is laced with occultism,” Wohlberg adamantly warns. “Even the vegetarian vampires crave blood; the Cullens are members of The Olympic Coven, Edward reads minds and has supernatural powers, and shape shifting is showcased. It is these very activities – or the promise of them – that are now luring countless teenagers into the dark and dangerous world of real occultism.”
The author’s newest book, “The Darkness of Twilight: Hidden Perils Behind Today’s Vampire Craze” (Remnant Publications, 2009) counters Twilight fever and exposes exploding interest in real vampirism.
“The Washington Post ran a piece entitled, ‘A Vampire’s Life: It’s Really Draining,’ in the immediate wake of the first Twilight movie (released Nov. 21, 2008),” said Wohlberg. “ABC News fueled the fire with its own Oct. 31 article provocatively called, ‘Real Life Vampires: Who Are They?’
“Is anyone really paying attention to or taking a stand against this real-life, blood-sucking trend?”
In “The Darkness of Twilight,” Wohlberg sounds a sensible warning to teens and adults. “Don’t be bitten by vampirism!” is his sober challenge.

I believe her works upon the matter is really good, because it can really show how to apply the law of chastity, because as we read in the said novel, that sexual crime is not tolerated here. The world wants us to have premarital sex, but the Lord wants us to do it in a right way. Great job for the wonderful work….
