What Is Imminency?
In doing some research on the doctrine of imminency, I noticed few people take the time to actually define what prophetic imminency means. First, let us look at the general definition of the key word “imminent:” “The quality or condition of being about to occur.”
Imminency, as it relates to Bible prophecy, simply means that the return of Jesus Christ for the Church can happen at any moment. No warning signs will indicate a short-term countdown. We as Christians remain on alert 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. (more…)

This word, dispensation, is a biblical word. It is found in the King James Version in several places. It comes from a Greek word, oikonomia, from which we get, in English, “economy.” In the Revised Standard Version it is usually translated stewardship or, in some places, plan. It appears in Ephesians 1:10 where the Apostle Paul speaks of “a plan for the fulness of time.” In Ephesians 3:9, Paul speaks of a dispensation or stewardship which was committed to him, which he calls, in the RSV, “the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things.” This is the word we are dealing with. Literally, it really means “the law of the house” —oikos is house andnomus is law; sooikonomus is “the law of the house.” It has to do with order and regulation within a household. (more…)

What is Ecclesiology? Answer: Ecclesiology is the study of the church. The word Ecclesiology comes from two Greek words meaning “assembly” and “word” – combining to mean “the study of the church.” The church is the assembly of believers who belong to God. Ecclesiology is crucial to understand God’s purpose for believers in the world today. What is the church? Many people today understand the church to be a building. This is not the biblical understanding of the church. The root meaning of “church” is not that of a building, but of people. What is the purpose of the church? According to Scripture, the purposes / activities of the church should be: (1) teaching Biblical doctrine, (2) providing a place of fellowship for believers, (3) observing the Lord’s supper, and (4) praying. The FUEL Project Index
From Lucifer to Babylon, how the Nephilim is evidence of the demonic invasion of humanity. Who is Nimrod? We have divided this video series into 12 Sections. Below is an index of the sessions with a brief description. The FUEL Project “Know Your Enemy” by Mark Fairley of the Fuel Project, chronicles the history and some conclusions based on the bible. This selection of videos addresses how the one world government Scripture foretells is being forged right before our eyes.
The “enemy” is not a person or even a group of people for we wrestle not against flesh & blood. The “enemy” is Satan who exerts himself as a spiritual force against that which is of God. We have broken this lengthy series down into bite size pieces with brief descriptions. Get informed. Ephesians 5:11 (more…)
Jude warned the church to contend for the faith against apostates who attempt to steal away disciples. In verse 4 of his epistle, he wrote, “For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only sovereign and Lord.” Jude identifies the apostates by certain characteristics. They are ungodly because they supplant God’s sovereign authority with an authority of their own. Apostates turn the grace of God into a commodity that can be bought, bartered or merited. They pervert the gospel of grace into a gospel of works. They deny the supremacy and sovereignty of Christ and give His divine attributes and titles to others. (more…)
Elliott Nesch from Holy Bible Prophecy has updated the excellent critique: Church of Tares chronicles the man-centered pragmatism of these evangelical Christian movements in comparison to the Bible’s instruction for building the Church of Jesus Christ. Can the Church borrow the marketing tools of the world and apply them to the Church? What is the history of the Church Growth movement and its false premises? Who is involved in the new evangelicalism and second reformation? Why are these movements embracing contemplative mysticism? How does this movement play into the New World Order? These questions and more are answered in Church of Tares: Purpose Driven, Seeker-Sensitive, Church Growth & New World Order. (more…)
In light of Pope Benedict’s resignation we know many Catholics will have questions. We in love for the truth and our Catholic friends offer this hope. [email protected] Deception will always be exposed by Truth. Have you ever realized that you could be deceived and not even be aware of it? Those who are deceived will never know it unless they are confronted with the truth. Many go to their grave deceived about the most important issue we all face, and that is, locating the narrow road that leads to eternal life. Who are you trusting to show you the way and the truth to eternal life? What is your source for truth? Is it absolutely trustworthy? Will it protect you from the schemes and lies of the master deceiver? (more…)
Seventh-day Adventists put forth a very Christian veneer. What does the official SDA doctrine teach and where did it come from? What facts won’t they tell you? They won’t tell you that they consider themselves to be the only, true, remnant Church. Their prophetess, Ellen G. White, whom they revere and believe without question has told them that “…Satan has taken full possession of the Churches”. (Spiritual Gifts V.l,p.189-90) They also believe our prayers are an “abomination” to God. (Spiritual Gifts, V1 p.190). They believe that your Christian church and pastor are the tools of Satan. The spiritual disciplines are not taught in Matthew 11:29, 30 (Willard’s primary proof test), and even Willard admits they cannot be found elsewhere in scripture (we shall show this momentarily). But he is nevertheless enthusiastic about the recent rediscovery of the disciplines. Dallas Willard is excited to tell us that finally, through the lead of people like Richard Foster, we are having a revival of the use of spiritual disciplines. Writes Willard: “Today, for the first time in our history as a nation, we are being presented with a characteristic range of human behaviors such as fasting, meditation, simple living, and submission to a spiritual overseer, in an attractive light.”13 He claims that ordinary means such as Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and evangelism are inadequate and having failed, have left most Christians as failures. He writes, “All pleasing and doctrinally sound schemes of Christian education, church growth, and spiritual renewal came around at last to this disappointing result. (more…)
We offer another article on Rick Warren and the Purpose Driven Church. This movement and model may be well meaning, but we can observe the doctrinal devastation left in it’s wake for the sake of Church Growth. How do we determine if your Church has gone Purpose Driven? Some key indicators are listed succinctly below. This is a profound change; it is a total departure from what the Scriptures teach the church should be. It is a change which involves a change of vision. It is a change which involves a takeover of the church by those who have a totally unbiblical vision for the church. We have seen it everywhere. Israelology Overview: What is Israelology? It is the doctrine of Israel and this topic covers 5/6th’s of the bible. One’s view of Israel is key in determining one’s theology. This groundbreaking study investigates four approaches to the theology of Israel past, present, and future; and scrutinizes beliefs that tend to confuse the identities of both Israel and the Church. Amazingly, this groundbreaking work is the first to create an entire systematic theology of all that the Scriptures say in regard to the people of Israel. As such, Israelology fills a tremendously neglected void, while affecting nearly every other segment of systematic theology and directly addressing a crucial point of division in evangelical theology today. 18 Sessions in all.
I recently learned that Rick Warren “tweeted” the following statement on his Twitter account:
“The well intentioned fad of finding the Cross in every verse is eisegesis. Even Jesus didn’t do that! Never force a theology.”
Really, Mr. Warren? The fact that Jesus is the Word and the Word of God clearly points to the plan of redemption as one of, if not the main tenet should be obvious.
Video Expose by Jacob Prasch who states, Prasch aptly points out that “The main door into the Emergent Church, however, has been The Purpose Driven lie with its social gospel, interfaith spiritual pluralism, repentance-free gospel, and psychologized soothsaying that has replaced biblical exposition.
Dangerous Doctrines of the WoF Movement: Positive Confession, Substance of Faith, Little gods Doctrine, the Fall, Jesus Christ are covered in A Call for Discernment is not intended as a personal attack on anyone, it is simply, as the name implies, a call to the church for discernment. It would be easy to make the assumption that this is an anti-charismatic seminar. Such is not the case. When it comes to the fundamental tenets of orthodox Christianity, charismatics are in agreement with me as a Southern Baptist. I am not charismatic, but neither am I anti-charismatic. The Word of Faith Movement, however, does at times denigrate and even deny some of the fundamental, non-negotiable truths of the Christian Faith (as documented in the seminar, especially in Sessions 1 and 2).
Evangelism Session 3 of 10 Video HD Session 3, “What Is The Gospel?” A directed study of the methods of personal and group evangelism, with emphases on equipping laypersons to evangelize, the use of church and parachurch structures in evangelism, the care of new converts and discipleship, and the use of apologetics as well as current issues in evangelism. Biblical evangelism begins with prayer for the guidance of the Holy Spirit in witnessing, open doors of opportunity, and a clear understanding of the bad news of sin and wrath and the good news of love, grace, mercy and faith. Holy Days of our LORD First Fruits The Church and the Chosen are represented in the wave offerings of the two loaves of bread before the Lord, the offering for the new harvest season. We interview the editor of Eretz (The Land) magazine regarding his insights into the ancient commonalities between modern Judaism and the present-day Church. On location in Israel, we created this presentation of the holidays our Lord celebrated. Given to Moses on Mt. Sinai, these celebrations comprise one of a fascinating studies of Biblical types and shadows. Few churches or seminaries teach what we take up in this series. Closed Captioned. (more…)
