For your people and for your holy city, read that as Jews and Jerusalem
Note: Here, those 70 weeks are for Daniel’s people (Israel), and that holy city is Jerusalem! God’s outline will be accomplished in 70 prophetic weeks. If you miss this, then you can never understand Bible prophecy. This is so crucial that you must understand it. Six things need to happen on God’s task list for the Jewish people and the holy city Jerusalem. God will quickly bring all these to pass in the period we call Daniel’s 70th week or the Tribulation period. That is the 7 years: the first 3 1/2 years (Tribulation) and the last 3 1/2 years (Great Tribulation), 42 months, or 1260 days. It’s prominent when you know what you’re looking at, friend.
