The New Age movement’s symbols are essentially the same as those used by the Jesuit Order and Freemasonry, and we can trace their origins to Babylon and Egypt. Freemasonry uses the name “Solomon’s temple” to give legitimacy to their rituals, but the rituals are basically identical to those found in all pagan secret societies. Sol, Om, and On are the names of the sun god in Roman, Eastern, and ancient Egyptian mysticism respectively.

But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great [is] that darkness!  Matthew 6:23

In New Age teaching, the group of immortal Ascended Masters is known as the Great White Brotherhood and has its headquarters in Tibet.

Masonry & The New Age Connection

[bctt tweet=”The claims of enlightenment from both Masonry & The New Age smack of Babylon!”]

The Great White Brotherhood is the source of most occult organizations, including the Order of the Rosy Cross, Ordo Templi Orientis, the Bavarian Illuminati, and the Jesuits. According to prominent occultists Elizabeth van Buren and Alice Bailey, the Brotherhood is led by Sanat Kumara (Sanat being a scrambling of the name “Satan”).

Masonry, New Age,

The New Age movement’s symbols are essentially the same as those used by the Jesuit Order and Freemasonry, and we can trace their origins to Babylon and Egypt. Freemasonry uses the name “Solomon’s temple” to give legitimacy to their rituals, but the rituals are basically identical to those found in all pagan secret societies. Sol, Om, and On are the names of the sun god in Roman, Eastern, and ancient Egyptian mysticism respectively.

Albert Pike, a 33-degree Freemason, tells us that ancient occultism is found in Freemasonry:

The Occult Science of the Ancient Magi was concealed under the shadows of the Ancient Mysteries: it was imperfectly revealed or rather disfigured by the Gnostics: it was guessed at under the obscurities that cover the pretended crimes of the Templars; and it is found enveloped in enigmas that seem impenetrable, in the Rites of the Highest Masonry.i

Mimicking Christianity

Secret societies and the New Age Movement also borrow from Christian practices and terminology.

The “born again” experiences of Freemasonry and many other secret societies involve rituals such as lying in a coffin and being raised to a life of enlightenment by a master. Moreover, the temple rituals are precisely those that God instructed His people not to follow since they involve the glorification of celestial bodies. For these reasons, Freemason experiences cannot be equated with the Biblical concept of conversion.

In the New Age movement, aspects from all religions are blended together. Temple terminology, Mithraism, Eastern religions, and modern Christianity are all placed in the context of Babylonian mysteries to create a new religion for the New Age.

New Agers are perfectly comfortable with Christianity, but they believe it is just part of a cycle and will soon pass away. To them, the Age of Pisces  was the period of organized religion and of world teachers like Mithra and Jesus Christ, who was merely overshadowed by the spirit of Maitreya . New Age writing illustrates this point:

…the two pillars of Jachin and Boaz…came into being approximately eight thousand years ago. Then came Taurus, the Bull, wherein Mithra came as the world Teacher and instituted the Mysteries of Mithras with an (apparent) worship of the Bull.  Next followed Aries the Ram, which saw the start of the Jewish Dispensation which is of importance to the Jews and unfortunately of importance to the Christian religion, but of no importance to the untold millions in the other parts of the world; during this cycle came the Buddha, Shri Krishna and Sankaracharva; finally we have the age of Pisces the Fishes, which brought to us the Christ. The sequence of the Mysteries which each of the signs of the Zodiac embodies will be clarified for us by the Christ.ii

Leading up to the final world religion, a number of mystics are paving the way for the acceptance of this mindset. Read about Blavastky, Bailey, and their work to spread the doctrine of theosophy
