It was when I was in my sophomore year in high school that my Marine Biology teacher took our class for a trip on the Mass Pike, and we stopped at what is the highest elevation on Route 90 on the East Coast till you got to South Dakota! I-90 goes all the way from Coast to Coast. In a nutshell, our class walked over to a section of I-90 that had been carved out and we had a discussion about “sedimentary rocks” at 1724 feet above sea level! As a young kid, I recall how could that be? Science knew that at some point this was under water at some point. There is no mention of Noah’s flood that I recall, but as we traveled later in my life in and out of the state West, I would always recall that field trip when passing this sign.
On this fabled portion of I-90 lurks something of a mystery: The sign above, located in Becket, Massachusetts, states that in a westbound direction on I-90, the “next highest elevation” doesn’t come until Oacoma, South Dakota. Becket Mass Road Sign

In the late 18th and early-19th centuries, a number of geologists began to argue that the thick sedimentary rock layers on the earth were not formed quickly during a global flood, but slowly over long ages. As a result of this shift in interpretation, a number of Christian pastors and theologians began to re-interpret verses referring to the flood as a local, rather than a global, inundation.
That view has continued to this day. Many commentaries, study Bibles, and Bible encyclopedias incorporate this interpretation of a local flood into their publications. You Must Be Born Again
So I apologize to those who have not heard that you must repent (change of mind) for many says, “I was born this way!”, Jesus says, “Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 It is repentance then acceptance of those who are practicing sexual sin, not acceptance which progressives seek. Christ died for the sins of the world and cowardly ministers, tares, goats, and hirelings will all answer to our Heavenly King.
