What Does the Bible Mean about “That Day”?
The End Time scenario plays out in our understanding of the Second Coming of Jesus. What many of the prophets of Old pointed to. Israel’s disobedience and failures with God’s mercy and grace to fulfill the covenants he made are (the Abrahamic Covenant is Unconditional), but with conditional covenants, God punished Israel with Babylon and the destruction of the Temple with King Nebuchadnezzar.
We will overlay these texts and see that they are centered on Jerusalem and Israel. Zechariah 12 & 14, Micah 1, Malachi 1, Joel 3, and a host of others. We continue to define terms of “That Day” and others.
