Ministering by Edifying, Amos37

Recently we posted a “Question of the Day” to our Facebook audience.  So in response, I wanted to outline some guiding principles from the Bible I use to minister.  While most of our audience remains faithful to scripture we want to put forth some reasons we do what we do here.  Above is our starting point that we may Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers

He lives within us by His Holy Spirit brining us hope, love and correction. And we can know them by their fruit. And why would we find any fruit in the thorns of Hindu practices? “You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?” Matthew 7:1-20

While I cannot speak for everyone here on this page and I don’t want to. Here are some guiding principles in Scripture. This post is just but one aspect of our ministry. We seek to bring the FULL counsel of Gods word. I love God because He first loved me and gave Himself in Christ Jesus for this unworthy sinner. Yet it makes me want to worship and serve Him.

So we set out to make a full ministry resource for all those who would seek The Truth that is hid in Christ. We teach the word, we study, we cover apologetics, prophecy and culture.

My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge Colossians 2:2–3

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Ephesians 4:29

Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. Ephesians 5:11

I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 2 Timothy 4:1-4

Jesus said of offenses and causing people to stumble, by calling something Christian when it is not, Yoga (here in this thread) We warn so others may not stumble. It’s serious stuff keeping people out of occult influences (offences/temptation)

Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! -Matthew 18:7

the movable stick or trigger of a trap, a trap stick

a trap, snare

any impediment placed in the way and causing one to stumble or fall, (a stumbling block, occasion of stumbling) i.e. a rock which is a cause of stumbling

fig. applied to Jesus Christ, whose person and career were so contrary to the expectations of the Jews concerning the Messiah, that they rejected him and by their obstinacy made shipwreck of their salvation

any person or thing by which one is (entrapped) drawn into error or sin.

Our Bible Studies and Research indicates the advesary is roaming about as a lion seeking whom he may devour. Eastern practices (New Age Concepts) are pouring into many Churches by adding the label “Christian” and paving the way for apostasy. And those who have escaped, who have testified here and elsewhere. Let us know, “RUN”. At the bottom you may want to look up Alice Bailey and The Plan to take over the Church

Finally if it (what we do) is not done in love, then I am nothing. But we have a love for the truth and offenses are part of the process as Jesus warned us. 1 Corinthians 13
