For many of us, the Second Coming of Christ and the gathering of His Church seem imminent. Below, the Apostle Peter tells us that the coming Judgment on a Christ-rejecting world will begin at the house of God (Church). If this is true, and it is. Then how would we see the Church judged? Below is a list of movements that have significant issues that lead to false teachings and blindness in those who may be seeking God. God knows who are His own.
So How Does Judgment Begin at the House of God
For the time [has come] for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if [it begins] with us first, what will [be] the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? [1 Peter 4:17]

One way God judges His people is by sending a famine of hearing His word. How? By a plethora of false gospels. [Amos 8:11]. God did this in the past, and He is doing it again, leading up to the Great Apostasy. God is sovereign and in control, as He has shown in the past. [Ecclesiastes 1:9-10, 1 Corinthians 1-11]. And God is the author of those who do not obey the gospel; He will choose their delusion. It means the End of the Church Age!
Friends, examine your hearts to see if you are in the faith. Deception is at an all-time high. God is holy, which means separate from sinners. That is the good news of the gospel! God bridged that great gulf of our sins through the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Be a Berean and test what others, including us, teach about the word of God [Acts 17:11, 1 Thessalonians 5:21].
I believe, as a personal note, that after being part of a large church, this is part of the Judgment on the Church Growth Movement; it destroyed Fellowship, and many brothers and sisters were scattered. I warned the leadership not to operate the house of God like a corporation. Peer pressure and the world’s praise are tremendous. Look at this disturbing trend.

In [2 Peter 2:15–16], “The Way of Balaam” [Numbers 22:6] refers to following Balaam’s example—using spiritual gifts for personal gain instead of doing what the God of Israel says. It’s rebellion.
Many teachers like Rob Bell, Brian McLaren, and Rick Warren have become idols to millions, like “Rock Stars” in their popularity, as a cult of Personality, fueled by social media. No doubt, I have personally sat and watched many gifted, even charismatic leaders weave a tapestry of deceit.

False teachers are very nice, friendly, happy, outgoing, funny, entertaining, charismatic people, often bursting with ‘personality plus,’ who hold leadership positions as pastors, elders, and teachers. Thus, JESUS describes them as being in SHEEP’S CLOTHING, a shepherd’s garment, in the Church, but will be condemned for the DECEPTION they bring INTO THE FLOCK! False teachers cannot be IDENTIFIED simply by how NICE & FRIENDLY they act. Rather, it is by focusing on WHAT THEY ARE TEACHING! You will know they are teaching falsely if they are teaching “ANOTHER JESUS” AND A “DIFFERENT GOSPEL” (2 Cor 11:4)! Do they have the real Jesus? Do they have the real Gospel? This is what to look for! Firstly, we must test and examine ourselves, as Paul admonishes in 2 Cor 13:5, to see if we are in the faith. ”Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you– unless indeed you fail the test?” One must have the real Jesus and the real Gospel, by God’s grace, the Holy Spirit and Word, before one can discern/judge if a leader in the Church does or does not.
PAUL worked to WARN the flock, “DAY AND NIGHT, WITH TEARS” (Acts 20:26-31) & to EXPOSE THEIR DEEDS OF DARKNESS (Eph 5:11)!!! ▶ PAUL says, in 2 Cor 11: 12-15, “But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may CUT OFF the opportunity from those who DESIRE an opportunity TO BE REGARDED JUST AS WE ARE in the things of which they boast. For such are FALSE APOSTLES, DECEITFUL WORKERS, TRANSFORMING themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself TRANSFORMS himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if HIS MINISTERS also TRANSFORM themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” (caps added)
JESUS, PAUL, PETER, JOHN & JUDE ALL WARNED NOT TO BE DECEIVED by FALSE TEACHERS/TEACHINGS! If you are following any of these “DIFFERENT GOSPELS,” which are “CONTRARY” to God’s Word/The True Gospel (Lk 9:23-26; Mk 1:15, Jn 14:15, Jn 16:8, Acts 17:30-31), BEWARE, YOU ARE BEING DECEIVED!
Those who are truly found in Christ, having been given a LOVE FOR THE TRUTH, His flock, will be SAVED from FALSE TEACHING in the Church by God’s Sovereign Grace and Word. NO ONE can snatch His sheep from His hand (Jn 10: 27-29)! PTL!!! \0/
Itching Ear Messages and False Converts Reject Sound Doctrine
However, there are others, apostates/false converts, who will REMAIN in FALSE TEACHING. ▶ PAUL says, in 2 Tim 4:3-4, “For the time will come when they will NOT endure SOUND DOCTRINE; but WANTING to have their ears tickled, they will ACCUMULATE for themselves teachers in accordance to their OWN DESIRES, and will TURN AWAY their ears from the TRUTH and will TURN ASIDE to MYTHS.” (caps added)
Those who do not LOVE the TRUTH will be judged and condemned to destruction! ▶ PAUL says, in 2 Thes 2:10-12, “and with all the DECEPTION of wickedness for those who PERISH, because they did NOT RECEIVE the LOVE OF THE TRUTH so as to be SAVED. For THIS REASON God will send upon them a DELUDING INFLUENCE so that they will believe what is FALSE, in order that they all may be JUDGED who DID NOT BELIEVE the TRUTH, but took PLEASURE in WICKEDNESS.” (caps added)
▶ BE LIKE A GOOD BEREAN (Acts 17:11) & TEST EVERYTHING (1 Thes 5:21)!!! ▶ JESUS says, in Mt 24:4, “See to it that NO ONE MISLEADS you.” (caps added) Spend plenty of time in personal devotion. Use information like this to help filter the myriad deceptions that parade themselves as Christian. Remember that Apostasy and false teachers are ONE of the biggest signs the bible warns us of from cover to cover.

Church Says Gay is OK? Romans 1
Today, one of the final signs we are being judged within the Church is that our culture in America & Europe is completely given over to “Gay is OK.” You’re a hater if you don’t approve! The god of Tolerance is NOT tolerant of God’s truth. See my article here. Is God Tolerant or Loving? God sends men to lean in to hear His word and gives evil men over to their sins! That is scary!
God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves… [Romans 1:1-24]

Note what I highlighted in Red. It’s what Rob and many others think, because it is now culturally acceptable even hip to be a “affirming” pastor. But what does God say? He has spoken on this issue. Here are just a few. Leviticus 18:22, 20:13, Romans 1:26-27, and the good news is here! 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.
We find wolves in the Church who profess that homosexuality is no longer a sin!? God loves homosexuals; it’s one of several sexual sins condemned as perversions. Adultery, Fornication, bestiality, and pedophilia are all sexual sins that can be washed by the blood of Jesus. Men like Rick Warren, Joel Osteen, Brian McLaren, Andy Stanley, and Rob Bell are just the tip of the iceberg.

The world today especially loves to accuse those who adhere to God’s Word as ” holier-than-thou”, “judgmental” or “unloving” individuals. And sadly, far too many professing Christians are being led astray by preachers who want to be seen as culturally relevant and empathetic, so they stand in the pulpits and focus on just one characteristic of God (love) and steer clear of preaching the complete Word of God. Popular False Gospels – The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ
Other traps can lead you away from a love for God, both inside and outside the Church. Examine yourself to see if you are in the faith (2 Corinthians 13:5). This is not a full list, and there are many within some of these systems that simply need to be made aware of the minefields of Religion laid by the devil to keep people from the truth of God’s great love for His Church.
Formalism. “I participate in the regular meetings and ministries of the church, so I feel like my life is under control. I’m always in church, but it really has little impact on my heart or on how I live. I may become judgmental and impatient with those who do not have the same commitment as I do.”
Legalism. “I live by the rules—rules I create for myself and rules I create for others. I feel good if I can keep my own rules, and I become arrogant and full of contempt when others don’t meet the standards I set for them. There is no joy in my life because there is no grace to be celebrated.”
Mysticism. “I am engaged in the incessant pursuit of an emotional experience with God. I live for the moments when I feel close to him, and I often struggle with discouragement when I don’t feel that way. I may change churches often, too, looking for one that will give me what I’m looking for.”
Activism. “I recognize the missional nature of Christianity and am passionately involved in fixing this broken world. But at the end of the day, my life is more of a defense of what’s right than a joyful pursuit of Christ.”
Biblicism. “I know my Bible inside and out, but I do not let it master me. I have reduced the gospel to a mastery of biblical content and theology, so I am intolerant and critical of those with lesser knowledge.”
Psychology-ism. “I talk a lot about the hurting people in our congregation, and how Christ is the only answer for their hurt. Yet even without realizing it, I have made Christ more Therapist than Savior. I view hurt as a greater problem than sin—and I subtly shift my greatest need from my moral failure to my unmet needs.”
Socialism. “The deep fellowship and friendships I find at church have become their own idol. The body of Christ has replaced Christ himself, and the gospel is reduced to a network of fulfilling Christian relationships.”
Proliferation of False Teachers and Another Jesus Sold Online: Showtime for the Sheep
Today’s churches are filled with Entertainment, Showtime for the Sheep. Entertainment is the devil’s replacement for Joy. Have you lost your joy? When I and all Christians fall into sin and are overtaken at times in a fault. (Galatians 6:1) As above listed is those who are promoting false teachings of all kinds in now mainstream Christian venues. How is this false teaching spreading so fast?
Todays Christian book stores and sellers like CBD which sells books by Depak Chopra a New Age Hindu!? Lifeway Christian Bookstore also sells more flavors than Baskin-Robbins when it comes to Heresy. While these outlets sell many good books, most Christians are not discerning enough to spot heresies and false teaching, like Sarah Young’s tragic Channeled book, Another Jesus Calling, which has sold millions! Rob Bell and all of his garbage that has been pushed by neo liberal teachers in the Emergent Church. Rob Bell, quite frankly, has denied the authority of the Bible, promoted New Age Oprah Winfrey, and Universalism! It was the sales of Rick Warren’s book The Purpose Driven Life. I bought it and read it. Our Church did this video series, and most loved it! I was troubled by how he handled Scripture by using over 10 different versions of the Bible. I could go on and on, but hopefully you can see how God has already begun judging His Church, as He did with Israel, by giving them over and sending leanness into their souls in the wilderness wanderings. “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a famine on the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord. They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; they shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord, but shall not find it.” -[Amos 8:11-12, Dueteronomy 8:3]
Christian Bookstores More Interested in Selling Than Discipling
I would caution that if it is popular and piled up in the front of a bookstore, that is probably a red flag. The unregenerate man [1 Corinthians 2:14] is not mindful of things of God. Dead in sins, and looking for confirmation of our sinful, fleshly desires, which are common to all men, even believers, but are undiscerning for the time.
The Bible warns against being unmindful of God’s things, as seen in [Matthew 16:23], where Jesus tells Peter, “You are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.” Additionally, [Psalm 106:7] reflects on how the people were “not mindful of the wonders” God performed, highlighting the importance of remembering His works.
There are many books being sold today in Christian bookstores that are dangerous to your spiritual health. Many here are already familiar with the names of people whose books we should avoid from the Word of Faith camp such as: John Bevere, Juanita Bynum, Morris Cerullo, Kim Clement, Kenneth Copeland, Paul Crouch, Creflo Dollar, Jesse Duplantis, Kenneth Hagin, Marilyn Hickey, Benny Hinn, Rodney Howard-Browne, T.D. Jakes, Bishop Eddie L. Long, Joyce Meyer, Myles Munroe, Steve Munsey, Mike Murdock, Joel Osteen, Rod Parsley, Peter Popoff, Fred Price, R.W. Shambach, Robert Tilton, Paula White, Ed Young and a whole host of others.
We know to avoid the books of people who are promoting the New Apostolic Reformation such as C. Peter Wagner, John Dawson, Jack Deere, Francis Frangipane, Ted Haggard, Bill Hamon, Cindy Jacobs, Rick Joyner, George Otis, Jr., Dutch Sheets, Ed Silvoso and many others.
I have spoken a number of times on the subject of the First Nations Movement which is tied to the New Apostolic Reformation. We know we need to avoid the materials of those who teach these things like Richard Twiss, Daniel Kikawa, Terry LeBlanc, YWAM and members of the World Gathering of Indigenous People.

God will not be mocked!
Anything added to the blood of Jesus and his Grace period will not work. This includes teaching to pay Tithes on every dollar for God’s free gift of grace, access, help and favor. I’m not against giving just selling the grace and free blessings of God for ten percent. Jesus never charge anybody for his blessing or help and he will mostly helping Jews when the law was still in effect before he died on the Cross.
Furthermore some preachers insult our intelligence by declaring a curse on those who are not able to tithe on every dollar when Gal.3:13 said Christ has redeemed us from the curse. Do you preachers that teach this think the Lord will co-sign on you going the way of Balaam and trying to curse his redeemed from the curse people to collect your pay and fund your empires?
Nothing built on manipulation, fear tactics, pressure, obligation, or false teaching will prosper. That includes declaring the Malachi 3 curse on God’s people whom “Christ has redeemed us from the curse”
Galatians 3:13-14).
Who was it that said: “You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time”, spoke the truth.
This tithe manipulation must stop! God is not blessing deception. I pray various Legalistic Church Leadership will stop replacing Jesus as Lord and cease lording it over God’s people. God’s people do not belong to you and there is only One (Great) Good Shepherd of the Sheep. I heard one Pastor tell people to get out of His church if they did not agree with him. I wonder to yell out you liar, it is not your church but God’s church. Jesus paid for his church with his own blood.
Christians need to follow the Holy Spirit in all things even in giving and stop building monuments and empires unto men/women. It is no wonder people are leaving organized religion in droves. We want to feel God’s manifest presence not join a country club of elites and organizations steeped in man’s rules & man made traditions.
Paul called those carnal who base their foundation on men of God..
1st Corinthians 1:12-13 “What I mean is that each one of you says, “I follow Paul,” or “I follow Apollos,or “I follow Cephas,” or “I follow Christ.” Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
Listen up Christians: Celebrity Preachers and Men of God are only servants, not your Lord God. Jesus is the one mediator between God and man 1st Timothy 2:5.
Jesus said the greatest among us are the greatest servants but some of these over seers behave like lord & Kings over God’s people and not servants. Others build up people like gods to pack out their stadiums.
There is so much leaning on the tithe works. This is nothing but glorying in the arm of the flesh which leads to self reliance and the mindset that you must pay God for his blessings like you pay a bill to keep the bill collectors and Repo man at bay.
If you want to listen to self exaltation just listen to most tithe testimonials. It’s all about what they paid and how much they sowed.You will scarcely hear one word about what Jesus paid on the cross for them.
Many Pastors encourage tithe boasting to fund the Church as if everyone is unlearned and fails to understand Jesus words on the Cross “Paid in Full, as in It is Finished”.
Nothing built on sand will Stand.

Give as an act of worship but when people are taught to tithe for the blessing, grace and help from God there is a line that is crossed and God will not bless this kind of deception…even to fund the Ministry.
God and the blood of Jesus or his grace (Unmerited Favor) is not for sale. It is a gift paid in full on the cross of Christ. This is why I think many Churches are not prospering but failing
Jesus came to save us and usher in a New Covenant.

A serious credibility problem is hurting the Church leadership along with peer pressure and trying to grow the church on legalism, the arm of the flesh instead of reliance on the Holy Spirit. There are churches requiring your W-2 form and requiring you tithe to volunteer in Ministry. There some churches making calls to reprimand you for falling behind in the tithe but offer not so much as a job referral to those out of work, let alone have storehouses with food paid for in ten percent food (like under the Old Covenant).
If you want to understand what Jesus felt about the legalistic tithing Pharisees read Matthew 23:23. They got a rebuke not a praise from him. This speaks volumes since Jesus had not yet died on the cross to fulfill the law.
I think repentance is needed for selling the grace of God and the Favor paid for at the Cross of Christ to fund the church.
Nothing but a sure foundation will last. This sure Foundation is Christ, His atoning blood sacrifice and His grace Period.
Don’t get me wrong I love to give cheerfully. God loves a cheerful giver 2nd Corinthians 7:7
However, if you think you can buy the favor and grace of God it will not prosper. God will allow a shaky foundation to fold at best and at worst he may even drive the money merchants out of his House of Prayer once again until they stop stealing the glory of his payment on the cross and selling his daily unmerited favor, cause it is NOT for sale.
Correction: Jesus never charge anybody for his blessing or help and he was mostly helping Jews when the law was still in effect before he died on the Cross.
Manipulating people to fund your Ministry will not working in the long run.

The problem for posttribulationists is that all the Rapture passages seem to indicate an imminent Rapture, while the Second Coming is preceded by specific events. The difficulty is in reconciling these two distinct events into one single event. Posttribs try to solve this problem by redefining imminence as merely indicating that Christ will return soon, and argue against the idea that the Rapture could occur at any moment.
It should be noted that in several instances, Paul exhorted believers on the basis of the imminency of the Lord’s return without even the slightest warning of an impending great tribulation (1 Cor. 15:51-58). Every passage that clearly refers to the Rapture has this unusual feature of exhortation which is based on the imminency of the rapture and the absence of any warning of an intervening great tribulation.
